Shaun is a highly adaptable leader and an approachable advocate for individuals and businesses alike. Maintaining an unyielding client-centric approach, Shaun is passionate about helping others find a path towards their vision.

His curiosity about what gives his clients meaning drives his process — and he endeavors to align his clients’ financial lives with their values. Shaun believes in a true holistic approach, and he enjoys collaboratively problem solving to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.

Shaun’s mission is to educate and empower others to bridge their goals with their financial life, and he does this in multiple ways. By founding a wholly independent wealth management firm, Shaun and his team are able to offer a completely personalized approach to clients with techniques that are uniquely fit for their financial well-being.

Additionally, as the host of the Money Belt Radio show, a weekly talk radio program, Shaun is able to reach a wide audience, discussing current economic and geo-political events and how they affect the personal finances of Main Street America. Shaun has been an adjunct faculty member for San Juan College, teaching a course called “Financial Planet.” Through this course, community members better understand retirement planning, goal setting, risk management, investing and legacy planning.

Shaun sees great value in taking a multi-disciplinary approach. He regularly meets with a group whose expertise varies across different professions, enabling each to provide a critical perspective. Through collaboration, the network identifies and creates solutions that are naturally at the forefront of their respective industries.

Shaun graduated from the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University. He is a Series 7 and 66 licensed Financial Advisor and is licensed in Life, Health and Disability Insurance.

An avid adventurer, Shaun has spent time traveling and working in Asia and the Pacific, including a year in New Zealand where he met his wife, Kereth. Today, Shaun and his family live in the Four Corners. When not working, you can find Shaun enjoying the great outdoors with his family, on the golf course, skiing or playing the guitar.

Robert Requard

Financial Advisor

800-716-4157

robbr@ironrivercapital.com

When Robb started his practice he had a vision to provide a client experience that was bespoke and collaborative.  He wanted a practice that put his client’s interests first and encouraged other professionals to enter the conversation to provide the best possible outcomes. He is proud that his clients have affirmed his vision. The greatest compliment to this is his clients’ consistent referrals. If you are reading this, you are likely here because of such a referral.

Robb began his career in the insurance industry almost two decades ago and quickly moved to develop a comprehensive practice that was fiercely independent. You’ll often hear him state “I represent my clients, not a company”. He believes that financial planning is a strategic discipline balanced by an individual client’s values—their “why”. His clients are deeply committed to see their plans succeed because of his method. He specializes in retirement planning, estate planning, and investment portfolio management - all carefully inclusive of his client’s “why”.

He completed his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of New Mexico and studied at UNM’s Anderson School of Business in pursuit of a Master’s in Business Administration before being lured away with a job offer in his first year. He completed his Financial Planning Certificate at the University of Texas.

Robb has southern roots and a mountain soul. Originally from Virginia, he was raised in New Mexico and lives in Dripping Springs, TX. That mountain soul inspires Robb’s great getaways. You will find him fly fishing, backpacking, mountain biking, skiing, or hiking when away from the office.

Kereth Connolly

Chief Operations Officer

970-426-5300

kereth@connolly-financial.com

Kereth is a dynamic and thoughtful coordinator whose approach to her work reflects her approach on life. She has a distinct perspective on organization and believes it’s a means to an end, a way to anticipate and circumvent challenges that may steer a ship off course — a way to critically keep the goal in mind.

As such, Kereth has developed and improved systems and processes for Connolly Financial that uphold the overarching mission: personalized, holistic and highly technical planning, delivered with integrity.

It began years ago through her experiences in the hospitality industry. Through managing employees and multitasking, she learned to keep the many moving pieces of an operation in tandem with one another, even in the face of unexpected obstacles. Kereth learned that impeccable results are only possible when empathizing with — and empowering — those around her. Her managerial perspective is that supreme attention to detail and an ability to understand others are essential to reaching an overall vision, as is laughing along the way.

An Aristotlean concept gleaned from her philosophy studies at the University of Auckland in New Zealand continues to ring true today: the end has a meta-physical superiority over the means. Through preparing and managing budgets, improving company efficiencies, analyzing financials and managing personnel, Kereth keeps the Connolly Financial ship on track and moving towards the “end,” the goal — their clients’ overall well-being.

Kereth and her husband Shaun currently live in the Four Corners where they enjoy spending time together with their two boys in the great outdoors. They love to vacation internationally to expose their kids to different cultures and perspectives.
